You're so right about slowness being needed during times when it's toughest to pursue. Thanks for your honesty as always, Stacey!

Isn't it, though?? Gah. Just so grateful for muscle memory cultivated during more spacious seasons. Finding some delight in the fact that those moments are easier to slip into when I do lift my head up, despite the chaos around me. It's all just practice. xo

You are not the only one my dear Stacey, and I am so glad to know I'm not the only one either! We are constantly learning how to reset boundaries, figure out why we are mad (a lot!) and finding our pace and place in the life that is now. Not forever...just now. One day at a time sweet Jesus! Hugs!

I like that word, reset. This idea of coming back around, of moving in a spiral instead of a straight line, learning something new from each rotation, hopefully moving closer to ourselves or god or wisdom in the process. It has been difficult and also, I suspect, I will look back on this season as one of the greatest gifts / inflection points of my life. Thanks for the read you sent by the way - I LOVED IT.
