Stacey the amount of quotes and thoughts you’ve spurred from me from this article is amazing ✨ I feel like you’ve put words to a concept I couldn’t quite touch but have been thinking about recently.
I was going to say “I wish I knew what my shit sandwich was” but as soon as I went to type it I thought of a handful of things that come to mind. Definitely something I want to think through more though 💕 thank you!!
Totally Stacey! (P.S. I found myself thinking about the shit sandwich multiple times today 🤣 thinking if this is mine or not 🤣 thought you’d appreciate that!)
Thanks Cheryl. The beautiful paradox is that when we stop chasing ease and joy and surrender to the tough stuff - that's when we're most likely to find it. Hope you and the family are well. xo

Megan, so glad to hear! It's been such a helpful reframe for me, especially in this season when we're making such big, sweeping changes.
And I think you're so right - with most of these things - our heart already knows the answers, we just need to learn how to ask it better questions.

As always Stacey, I love your writing! And yes, ease is not the way to growth or joy. Sometimes the hardest roads yield the most. Oxo
