Well, my experiment in not emailing you my posts in an effort to spare your inbox have revealed some interesting feedback.
No one saw it!
For those of you who are writers on here and were part of our conversation about this a while back on notes - here’s the deets for your own research.
I posted a link (a graphic post share) in the bottom of a Sunday email. I also shared the piece in a note. The result was this post had less than 10% of the average number of views I get per piece. Yikes!
Soooo long story short - here it is. From now on I’ll be landing in your inbox Sunday and every other Thursday.

Nearly every day this week in my work with clients at Slow Folk or in my conversations here on Substack, I have met a woman fraught by the idea of creating and maintaining a personal brand. I have watched and listened as this inane idea laid their bright and shiny dreams to waste. So much so, that my Mama Bear energy has risen, unbidden.
She. Is. Pissed.
So I’m gonna say it often, and I’m gonna say it loud : *Climbs onto soapbox to holler into the crowd* - YOU ARE NOT FOR SALE.
