on slowing down when life feels heavy

Morning everyone,

Just a quick note today. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who have read my words each week these past months and shared your hearts with me. Substack has been a strange ride. There have been both lovely friendships and unnecessary unkindness and everything in between.

As many of you know, my family has had a rather turbulent start to 2024. Sadly, we have recently had a family tragedy poured on top of what is already a season of disorientation and vulnerability and simply too much. As my late mum used to say - When it rains, it pours.

I just wanted to let you all know that I’ve paused paid subscriptions for a moment while I catch my breath and process my grief.

I don’t want to amplify the negativity in your world by writing from this vulnerable, doubt-filled space, so I won’t.

Thanks in advance for your understanding as my family moves through this difficult time.
